Today I found out about a great new Twitter Client for Windows Mobile. Its called PockeTwit. I’ve been using TinyTwitter for a few months, but I’ve been a little frustrated with its boring interface. I used it all day long today and didn’t have any major problems with it. It had a few connection problems, but I think those were actually Twitter’s fault. At one point I opened up TinyTwitter and it couldn’t get an update either, so it must have been Twitter. If the problem persist I’ll let you all know though.
PockeTwit has a beautiful user interface, and every feature you could ask for out of a Twitter Client.
- Support for multiple Twitter accounts, Identi.ca, and even Ping.fm
- Include photos from your phone
- URL shortening
- Google Map integration that shows where your friends are
- Themes
- And my favorite feature: conversation view!
Conversation view allows you to select a tweet being two people and easily see all of their replies back and forth to each other on one screen.
PockeTwit is a free, open source, application, so you’ve got nothing to lose by checking it out!
